"My name is Willy, and I’m about 5 and a half years old. I grew up in a household with children who were very mean to me, so I am cautious about meeting new people. Once I trust that I’m safe, you’ll find that I have the biggest heart. Some of my favorite things are chasing around my toys, taking naps, learning new tricks, eating cucumber chunks, going for walks, and most of all belly rubs! My tail is always wagging, and in true Minnesota fashion, the snow doesn't bother me one bit! I am extremely loyal to my parents, but I do get a little nervous when I’m left alone. I would love to be in a home with other dogs to keep me company or with someone who stays at home.
I am both crate and potty trained. I play well with other dogs, especially the ladies, and I stick up for myself around more aggressive dogs. I do not like to be petted before I know I can trust someone though. 
I am UTD on vetting, but I do have a cherry eye. It isn’t the prettiest, but the doctor says it causes me no pain. I sleep in my crate right now to help with my anxiety, but I would also be happy to sleep in my own bed on the floor or in bed with my parents.
