Mikey

Hi, I'm Mikey!

I am a really nice little guy who is waiting for the right adult companion to meet me. I am 9 years young and like to go on short walks, playing with toys - especially ones with squeakers, and I would love to be your friend. I am a nice dog who needs a new family because my previous owner passed away. I was well loved and cared for though and it shows. I am very well-mannered and calm.

I do have a pre-existing eye condition that seems to be stable with eye ointment given 2x a day. I have slightly impaired vision, but I can see. It makes me a little hesitant around stairs though and I really don't like to go up/down them, I preferred to be carried and with my small size that is really not too much of a chore. It also means that, occasionally, I am startled by quick movement or loud noises. This is why I prefer not to live with children.

I am very much a pampered house pet, and will gladly jump up on the couch to say hello and snuggle with you. I like to sleep with you in bed, but I am also fine sleeping on the floor with a blanket or dog bed. I like starting my day a little on the early side, and i enjoy morning playtime after breakfast while you enjoy a cup of coffee.

My adoption fee, including MN state taxes, is $214.55. I'm available to adopt within a 50 mile radius of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/Saint Paul.

If you'd like to meet me, please attend NorthStar's Nice To Meet Tzu adoption events, held the second Sunday of each month from 12-2pm at the Edina Chuck & Don's (I'm sorry, I'm not available for private meet and greets, please check the Events calendar the day before to see if I'm attending.)
