"Hi, I’m Whitley! I’m an adorable 4 year old, neutered, male Shih Tzu. I’ve got good doggie manners, and I don’t bark….much. I pretty much like everyone I meet. Except foster dad…..I LUUUVVV my foster dad! He’s my best bud. I whine when he leaves for work, and I turn myself inside out with excitement when he returns home.

I’m not afraid to let out a soft growl if I’m unsure about you at first. I’m fine with other dogs - I don’t know that I really like to play doggie games with them, but I’ve got nothing against cohabitating together. I love to be by my peeps, and I prefer to sleep on my humans’ bed at night. I am not a bed hog, and I’m all about sleeping late J. I like to go for walks, and I love car rides. I’m pretty much house-trained, but foster mom prefers that I sport a belly band, just in case. I do not prefer to be kenneled – I suffer from a bit of cage aggression. The good news is that I can be trusted to have free roam of the house (with a belly band, of course) if you need to leave me alone for a while. Win, win! 

A couple of months ago, I was diagnosed with glaucoma in my right eye. We tried meds, but my eye just wasn’t responding to them. I was in pain, so the decision was made to remove that pesky eye. I’m pretty much healed and I’m feeling like a million bucks! I do take a drop of Cyclosporine in my left eye 2X per day for preventive maintenance. My adoption fee is $375.46 (although foster mom says I’m “priceless”)."  

Whitley is UTD on vetting. His adoption fee, including MN state taxes, is $375.46. He is available to adopt within a 50 mile radius of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
