Winston has the wisdom and calm that comes from accepting things as they come. Found as a stray, the vet approximates his age at 10+ years. Of course, there's “old senior” and then, there's Winston's brand of senior! This black & white male Shih Tzu is nowhere near ready to retire. At a healthy 11 pounds, he is often mistaken for a much younger pup! Winston has a terrific personality; very loving and fun. He is content to crawl up on your lap yet can be extremely playful. He loves to chase a tennis ball and when he can’t find a pitcher, he has been known to throw it out of his mouth and kick it up with his paws so he can chase it. When he hears “go outside,” he runs to the door and dances around with special joy. He does well with the other small dog in his foster home and has made a good transition from the streets to family life. He is ready to join you on any adventure. He will be neutered at the end of the month and will be ready for his forever home then.
