"Hi, I'm Macy!!

I am 6 years young and was released from a commercial breeder in December.  Macy loves spending her days curled up on the couch near her trusted people or by the window watching all of the activity outside. She does well in her crate but has learned there is more to life and rarely needs to go iin there anymore. There's no such thing as too many treats - Macy will happily sit on command or sit pretty in exchange for a treat or two... or three! She’s also started taking up a new hobby of playing with some of her toys. At night, she looks forward to bedtime where she is happy to sleep up on the bed by her trusted humans through the night without accidents. Speaking of accidents, she's been working hard on her house training. Nevertheless she has done a great job using potty pads indoors for the time being. In addition, she is not destructive and has therefore earned free roam of her foster parent's house during the day. She is still a bit cautious with new noises and people, so she's just slowly learning to go outside on a leach. Because she gets frightened at times she needs to be in a household without small children. She does fine with other dogs and cats. In addition, she is finding it's oftentimes more effective to wag her tail and give kisses as opposed to voicing her emotions and opinions. Macy has made an incredible amount of progress since she came into rescue. She will do her best in a home that can be patient with her and keep teaching her all about what it's like to be a dog!

My adoption fee, including MN state taxes, is $321.83. I'm available to adopt within a 50 mile radius of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/Saint Paul.
