Hi, I'm Chris!

If you are looking for a sweet little dog that loves to be held during the day and snuggled with at night, Chris is the Shih Tzu for you! He is 6 years old and came to our family from Memphis, TN as an owner-surrender due to the owner’s illness. Chris does well with children (mine are aged 3 and 5) and other dogs. We are currently working with Chris on his exercise tolerance as he is a few pounds overweight and gets out of breath easily. Also, he needs manual assistance in getting up onto couches and beds. We’ve taken Chris on several car rides and he rests very comfortably on the center console. He is house trained and doesn’t require a fenced-in yard. Chris takes a pill every other day to manage his allergies and also requires daily eye ointment application. Both of these meds can be purchased online for about $121 per month.He tolerates both of these well. 

Despite having gone through the huge life change that he has, Chris has managed to adapt and thrive in his new environment. Everyone he meets just falls in love with him and his mellow vibe!

 

My adoption fee, including MN state taxes, is $321.83. I'm available to adopt within a 50 mile radius of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/Saint Paul.
