" Hi, my name is Hamilton, and I am about five years old. I lived in the same home for all of my life, until my mommy made the brave decision to let me find a forever home that will give me lots of attention. I am being brave and know that my forever family is out there.

Here are some things you should know about me. I currently live with two other dogs that look a lot like me. I lived with another dog at my previous home, and love that I have two dog friends in my foster home. I am easy going with my dog friends. I like to chase around my dog friends and try to beat the other two dogs to the toy when our human throws it for us. I sleep in a crate while my foster humans are at work, and I like that my crate is next to my dog friends. I sometimes try to trick my foster human into letting me sleep in the same crate as my other two dog friends. Every time the human notices, and makes me sleep in my own crate. One day the human forgot to latch the bottom latch on my crate, and I seized the opportunity and escaped from my crate. I scared my human when the motion sensor went off on the house, and the security camera revealed that I wanted to spend the day looking out my window. The human gave me a lecture when she got home, but she said it is hard to stay mad at such a cute face.

I am doing great on potty-training; I get right to business in the morning when I am let outside. I recently had surgery so I would not become a father to any puppies. I was not too happy about the surgery and having to wear a cone, but my foster human says that I don’t mark my territory in the house anymore.

For some reason I love shiny things, and I love to watch my foster human’s rings. Sometimes if I can’t resist the shininess, I try to lick their rings! When I get really excited and want attention, I get a little pushy. My humans tell me that they love me very much, but I don’t need to pushy when I want pets. I like going on walks and seeing other people and dogs. My foster human said that I am sometimes a bit of a slow poke. What can I say? I like to savor the experience!

When I think about my forever family, I would like a family that can give me lots of attention. I am open to human kiddos in the house, but only if they are gentle and respectful. I sometimes get cranky when I am asleep or not wanting to be pet, and will give a little growl before I trot away to give myself space.

I hope to meet you soon! Put in an application for me, Hamilton!"
