"Hi, I'm Zeus!

Hi all my name is Zeus and I am a 2 yr old male Shih Tzu looking for my fur-ever home. I am full of energy and all around a happy and grateful pup. I am neutered, chipped and up to date on all of my shots. 
 
I am a very sweet and loving pup with a great personality and demeanor. I do great with other dogs all shapes and sizes and even cats. I'm fine with kids but they make me a bit nervous and sometimes that upsets my tummy. I'm really easy going even when my foster sisters get mad and snippy at me for stealing their toys or stepping on them when I get excited, how rude!
 
I love, love, love to run wide open and in circles. I sometimes struggle with separation anxiety even with my 3 foster siblings home with me .... they are just not mom. I would love to be adopted by someone who doesn't work as much as my foster parents because I don't like to be alone for long periods of time.
 
I can go up stairs like a pro but going down large flights of stairs gives me a lot anxiety. I can be coaxed down as long as your patient with me. I am not a fan of pools or lakes but I do great at bath time. I also like to camp with my foster family there's always new smells to investigate and I enjoy new places. 
 
Loud noises, cars and strange people scare me so best i have a fenced in yard. Sometimes I just like to put myself in my crate or safe place as my foster mom calls it. Thunderstorms don't scare me at all but chip bags do...lol! I do great getting groomed from my neck back so my new groomer will need to be patient with me when grooming my face. I don't like my face groomed at all but no worries I don't get mad just scared. 
 
I am potty trained for the most part but still need some consistent training so I can shake my desire to mark my territory. I am getting better everyday but sometimes I forget and just need a corrective reminder..... I like to be praised for a good job and like to please my foster family.
 
I would be a good fit for anyone who would make time to train me, play with me, walk me, snuggle and love me and have the patience for my quirkiness .... my foster mom thinks my quirkiness is so darn cute and oh so entertaining.
 

My adoption fee, including MN state taxes, is $429.10. I'm available to adopt within a 50 mile radius of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/Saint Paul.
