"Hi, my name is Nate.  I am looking for a foster family in Minnesota. If you would like to foster me, please visit www.northstarshihtzurescue.org/foster to complete our Foster Sign Up.   

As you can see I am a bit of a clown. As soon as I came in to my foster mom’s house I spotted the toy box and I jumped right in. All I could do was think score! Toys and more toys… I get along with everyone. I love to play I love to be held, I am good in a bath, getting groomed and going on car rides. I am on the small side but don’t let that fool you I am Shih Tzu to the bone. You do need to watch me so I don’t potty in the house–I have had a few accidents. If you want me to eat and there are other dogs around that will eat my food, you need to cage me so I eat it all or if I am the only one in your life then I will come back as I see fit. I am about 4 and still act like a puppy. I’m 90% house trained and up to date with all my vetting. I will make a great addition to any family.”

Nate would do great in a house with kids 8 and older to play with him.  

Nate is not in Minnesota yet until a foster home is found for him.

Nate’s adoption fee, including MN state taxes, is $375.46. He is available to adopt within a 50 mile radius of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/Saint Paul.
