Breeder release Harry has learned so much in his time with his foster family. He did not know what to do with humans!  He’s been getting treats for the positive moves he makes, and when he allows his fosters to pet him without flinching. Finally he sees the advantage in love, and loves to lie next to you and get his belly rubbed! Harry does great on walks with a leash. He spends his day following his foster mom around and wondering when she is going to sit down and pet him.

Harry would be great in a home that has another dog to learn how to play, explore, and simple things like going in his own yard to potty! He is just starting to understand toys.

Harry seems to get along with dogs but does attempt to assert his dominance which his foster is working with him to overcome. He gets skittish with children and fast movements. A calmer, gentler handling by children would work for Harry.  

Harry sleeps in his kennel and will go in it on his own, but wants the kennel near people. He doesn't want to be left far from his people any time. He will find you wherever you are and sit next to you until you move. If you seem to be heading out the door he gets excited because he wants to come in the car with you! He loves car rides!

Harry will love you and cherish you and trust you with some time and attention given to make him feel secure. He will work magic on your heart, just like his namesake: Harry Potter!

Harry’s adoption fee, including MN state taxes, is $321.83. He is available to adopt within a 50 mile radius of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/Saint Paul.
